In addition to writing and work developing creative concepts, I am also an experienced copy editor and proofreader. Over the years, I have proofread and edited various marketing collaterals and other written pieces for ad/marketing agencies and educational institutions, as well as for nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses. Most recently, that includes work for a portfolio of premium and luxury audio brands.
Most recently, that includes work for a portfolio of premium and luxury audio brands. Other experience include proofreading of a local healthcare network’s 300+ page community benefit report. I have also proofread new business proposals, trade show collaterals for the National Association of Music Merchants, and websites. I hold a professional certificate in copyediting, and I’m adept at Associated Press style and the Chicago Manuel of Style. I can also proofread following any particular agency or client stylebook that may be required, or I can help you establish a consistent style for your organization.
The pieces you see here? I provided proofreading for the Sharp HealthCare Annual Community Benefit Plan and Report FY 2019. Upon completion, my client said, “Thank you so much for helping us get our report in tip-top shape.”
I was brought in to perform a light copy edit and proofreading of the main show guides for the National Association of Music Merchant’s winter and summer trade shows. I’m a bit of a music geek, so I really enjoyed working with NAMM.
I provided the final proofreading of the copy throughout the Culture Sells website, ensuring that all content was error-free and consistent in its writing style.
Also included is a law school op-ed that I reworked to transform it from a web-oriented piece to a more “lofty” voice suitable for an attorney publication.
